Beware of this thief / Cuidado con este ladrón!
I was accosted by a thief! I tried to give him what he wanted and he wanted more. He wanted it all!
Macke the treaty thief / ladrón. The cute dog who tried to steal my dog treaties.
I gave him a treat and he wanted it all. He went for the treat pouch. Grabbing the pouch and my shirt and pulling. I grabbed what he had holding in his mouth, fingers in his mouth prying it open. We fought vigorously for the meaty contents of the pouch. A few people came around and tried grabbing and and were going in to hit the dog. I said no, do not do that. It’s OK.
I pried my stuff out of his mouth and he went in again for another grab. I got a good turn in and he missed the target. I was laughing and finally those around watching, ready to hit the dog, started laughing also.
After I got control of my goods I opened the pouch and gave the dog half its contents, about 6 or 7 pieces of meat. He deserved something for his futile efforts while not biting me or tearing my shirt or pouch.
He also followed us to the Pollera / Chicken place and he got a few chicken heads too.

I call this cute street dog Macke (Masky) because of the mask on his face. He is a cutie.
