Watermelon Is The Ultimate Fruit
My favorite fruit is Watermelon (the kind with seeds are my favorite), known as Sandia in Dominican Republic. There is nothing like it in my non-humble opinion.
I don’t care about how nutritional it is. I don’t care that its low calorie. I don’t care that it provides hydration. I don’t care that watermelon provides essential nutrients, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. All that is a great bonus but if this fruit did not have all the good stuff, for me, it would still be the ultimate fruit.
Here is the way I enjoy my watermelon.
When you bite into the perfectly ripe melon. The sweetness floods the taste buds and an uncontrollable yummy sound comes from within. The eyes close in ecstasy.
As the semi-grainy fruit is mashed between the teeth and the juices flow down the throat, more yummy, almost orgasmic sounds come from the innermost being.
Another bite. Some of the glorious juices escape and slowly drip down the chin as a seed is crunched between the teeth. Introducing to the mouth another new texture that is also incredible (I eat the watermelon seeds also).
Oh, yes, I love watermelon. The color. The scent. The taste. The seeds. The juiciness. It is the perfect fruit.
