This year it just so happened that our shared birthday’s were not only on April Fool’s Day like always but also on Easter Sunday. So we got to celebrate all three at the same time. Inteliperra is now 8 years old and me, I am 10.

My sister, Inteliperra, knows more or less what month she was born because she was found when she was a puppy. Me, no one is quite sure when I was born. The vet says that I am around 10 years old now so I guess we just have to go with that.
We wore our Easter Bonnets.
I am a senior citizen now. I have arthritis and just don’t have the get-up-and-go like before. Thank goodness that I now have a home, a soft bed, good food and my daily bone to gnaw on.

So, anyhow, on our birthdays momma got up early because she wanted to watch the sun rise and have her own Easter Sunday Sunrise meeting with God as we watched the sun rise over the Caribbean Sea.

We walked up to the Faro Punta Torrecilla for quiet rock sittin’ and pretty wave watching. There were all these cars and tents set up at the Lighthouse. There was some really great church praise music and humans singing. It was an Easter Sunrise Service with the church Comunidad Cristiana De Restauracion.

What a nice surprise for momma. Teli was not too happy. She is such a big baby when it comes to live music. She can listen to loud music on the radio or in the Colmados but when its live, even a guitar, she goes nuts. I’m brave and love live music and the fun of it all. But, at least this time, Teli was a little calm so we got to sit on the rocks and listen to the service and watch the sun rise over the sea.

We came home to a little surprise. We had an Easter Basket!
Momma tried to make us each a hamburger bunny but they looked like messed up hearts. We give her a 2 paws up for the effort. But, really, it didn’t matter what it looked like. It was meat and we loved it! Then we had our bones and a colored Easter Egg. We got momma a bag of M&M’s.
