I love playing with my friends in the morning. We usually go to either the Fortaleza Ozama or the Playita Montecinos. I get so excited when I see my mommy getting ready to go. I jump on the bed next to where my leash is hanging and just wait for mommy to hurry and get ready so I can go and play.
Buenagente is back in our house for now. He was in the doctor’s for about 3 weeks. He was very sick with parasites and then he had sepsis from an infection in his teeth but they could not operate because they found he had a disease from ticks (or as they call them here in the Dominican Republic, garapatas), Ehrlichiosis, that made his blood not clot. So he has to be on medicine until he is better then he can get his teeth taken care of. Poor guy. As soon as he is all better he will be ready to look for his forever home where he can have his own family. (More pictures of Buenagente information about adopting Buenagente.
Anyhow, today at the Fort was too fun. When Buenagente and I got there Blanco and his mom was already there hiding in the dark because the sun still did not come up yet. We were so happy to see him. We were both smiling and Buenagente showed his excitement by barking.
We were running, barking, biting necks (which I am really good at) and legs, pretend fighting and jumping around.
As we were running and playing our friend Shadow came running to join in the fun.
Shadow likes to run around with us some but she really likes chancing anything that people throw.
We had a really good time.
Now Buenagente and I are resting in the house. Buena is on the bed, I am on the sofa and my mom is sitting in her chair working on the computer.
It was a good morning for us all.
