I was on the Playita Montecinos this morning and came across a little crab, we Dominicans call it jaiba. Usually they run and hide when we pass by and they jump in their little holes to hide. Today this jaiba was very brave. He came out and was running around. It took a little swim in the water. It also did a little circle dance for my mom and I that made my mom laugh. It was good because I got to check him out real close.
The jaiba was snapping his sharp pinchers at my nose when I got too close so I learned really fast not to get too awful close.
When my mom got the camera close the cute little guy winked at her. He was letting my mom know that he was just teasing me. What a funny little guy.
