Taking My Covid-19 Temp

Momma and I went on a walkabout, ending at the grocery store Aprezio. We ended up at the grocery store where I got my Covid-19 temperature taken. Inteliperra stayed home so we could have some quality time together.

Sometimes when just me and my momma walk she lets me lead the way. I can take her where I want to go. This walk we ended up in La Nueva at Av. Las Americas and Calero in Villa Duarte.

I love to find little alleys, what they call here callejóns, to discover. Once I find a good one I can always find it again so I can stroll down it again and again.

There was a little basketball court with some interesting graffiti that we discovered. Cancha Juan José Reyes Paulino – Bamban – in La Nueva, Villa Duarte.

Momma and I ended up at Parque Calero in Villa Duarte. We got some water, sat in the shade and had our fill of cold water before heading to get groceries and then home. We were getting hot and tired.

We walked up the ramp where I was tied to wait for momma to do some shopping. My buddy, the guachiman/watchman with his gun on his lap, moved out of the way to let me pass.

My friend who works there came out to greet me like he always does if he sees me. This time he had a big plastic gun looking thing in his hand. He stuck it close to my forehead. I was wondering what the heck he was doing. He did it to momma too!

He was taking our temperatures to make sure we did not have the Big C (Coivid-19 or Coronavirus)! Don’t worry we passed the test and we are the Big C free.

I waited patiently for momma to buy a few things. When she came out I had to check the bags to make sure all was good. We headed down the ramp, stopping to get my goodbye past from everyone that knows me, and we headed home. Hot, happy, lots of food and the Big C free.
