Life during this stupid Coronavirus is getting so boring! We can’t go out for our normal walks because of the COVID-19 even though we dogs cannot get this virus.

We can’t even go to the Colmado for our daily fix of Masita con Coco / Coconut Cookie. We have to get our masita and eat it at home. No one is permitted to sit inside the Colmados right now. It is just not the same as having it in the Colmado and doing a little bit of socializing.

Now, to make things even worse, yesterday was our birthdays. I (Inteliperra) turned 10 years old. I share my day with Buenagente because we don’t know when his birthday is. We think that he is around 8 or 9 years old. We had to get some cake and eat it at home. We could not even get any bones. The guy we get our bones from is never open when we pass and we are all our of our bone stash.

We are BORED. We are SO BORED. First, there was a curfew from 8PM to 6AM. Then they had to change it from 5PM to 6AM. It is not easy holding our pee for all that time. And even when we do get to go outside we cannot walk far. Momma will not let us go into the barrios and the alleys like we used to because she has to keep a 6-foot distance from all humans.

We just want this entire thing to be over. COVID-19 go away. We want all our friends, family and everyone to be safe and healthy.
Please follow the rules and stay home and away from other humans. Do not touch your face and keep those hands washed. Our momma even washes our feet when we get home from taking a walk which we do not like very much but, it must be done.
Try and feed the street animals too. There is not as much food in the streets for them to eat now that restaurants and other food places are closed or have limited hours. Their normal food supplies are not there. The dogs cannot carry the virus so don’t worry. They need your help.
