Today is the start of Semana Santa or in English Easter or Holy Week. I love it during the end of the week when all the humans go out of the city for their little weekend away and my friends and I get the city to ourselves.
First I want to send out well wishes to part of our family, Beza. She went to the Veterinarians yesterday to get an operation. She has a tumor. It is known as a sticker tumor and it sure looks like it hurts. I hope she recovers fast and that God guides the surgeons hands. Be strong Beza!
This morning it seemed strange to not have Beza join us. It was just Buenagente and me until Julio showed up while we were in Parque Colon.
Momma decided to take us to see if the doors to the Fortaleza Ozama were open so we could have a good run.
Woohoo! They were open so in we went. The sun was rising over the Torre del Homenaje and momma had to take a bunch of pictures. I must say it was really beautiful.
Buenagente and I had a great run.
Julio joined in but he is so short sometimes he gets trampled when we really get running and fighting.
Julio can keep up for the most part but mostly he lags behind a little with his big feet and short legs.
Buenagente and I had to take a break and discuss our plans for our birthday. Since we do not know exactly when we were born momma decided to give us the same birthday so we can have a big celebration. We will be celebration our birthdays on April 1st. Buenagente will be 7 years old and I will be 5 years old.
