This morning during the morning walk I wanted to take a quick run in the Fortaleza Ozama. They really do not like us to go inside much anymore but I figure if we just hurry in, take a run a few times around the grounds and get out they will not be too angry with us.
Buenagente, Zippy and I went to the Puerta de Charles III, in easier words the door of Fortaleza Ozama. It was closed tight.

We sniffed. There were people inside. They could not hide from us. Our smellers work very very well.
Zippy scratched at the door while we stood and guarded her hoping that she could get the men insides attention. She was really trying to get that door open for us. I was getting a little impatient.

We heard something! We turned. We thought Zippy did it! We were going to get in for a quick run. Oh yea, I was excited!

Zippy finally turned. She was giving up. We all had to give it up. There was going to be no Fortaleza Ozama Run today.
While Zippy was pouting Buenagente and I was looking in both directions trying to decide what was our next option.
Thinking what to do with ourselves now
It was getting late. Mom had to get home to get to work. Buenagente, Zippy and I were getting hungry and thirsty from the early morning walk. We decided it was time to go home, get some food and water and rest.
I will dream of the last time we had our run. There is always tomorrow for the Fortaleza Ozama Run that we love sooo much.
