Buenagente Is Still At The Vet

Buenagente is very very sick. Please remember my friend in your prayers.

After the first visit to ARPET Veterinarians Buenagente came home. He was feeling a little better for a few hours them he started feeling bad again. Mom tried to get him to take his medicines and he just would not do it Then he did not trust her anymore and he refused to eat too.

My Aunt Kay who knows dogs very well came over to visit. She brought treats for us from her store Pet Plaza. These yummy cow hoofs that we can spend hours chewing on. I ate a little bit of mine and some of Buenagentes also. Now I am saving them for when Buenagente comes back home so he can enjoy his special treat. She also brought Dog Toothpaste for Buenagentes bad teeth.

Aunt Kay tried to help mom get the medicines into Buenagente and he cried and cried and fought with all the energy he had to not take the medicine. This upset me very much. Then he had diarrhea and pooped on the floor 2 times. He also threw up.

Mom had Fernando take Buenagente back to ARPET. We were standing watching him go away in the Jeepeta and mom cried. When we got into the house I had to check out the window to really make sure he had left us. I was sad.

Mom checked on Buenagente 2 times yesterday and they said he was doing better. I was so excited when she got off the phone and told me I could not wait to go outside and share the news with our friends. Zippy was happy to hear that Buenagente was doing good.

We slept well hoping that Buena would come home soon then..

Mom called for me today to check on Buenagente. This is when they said that this morning they were very worried.

I knew something was wrong watching mom on the phone waiting to hear the news. Then mom got a look of a little bit of relief when they told her that he is stable now. He had yellow mucus coming from his nose. He had a high fever. They tested for distemper and he did not have that, THANK GOD. They have him on intravenous antibiotics and are forcing him to eat. They said he is doing better now and they are running tests on him to find the problem.

I am just so glad he returned to ARPET when he did or I might have lost one of my best friends. If you pray please pray for Buenagente to come back to us. Pray that he gets back to his good old self. I miss my friend.
