Mom takes me down Calle las Damas usually. She lets me off the leash now when we are on that street if there are no cars. If a car does come down the street she jumps to the middle of the road to make it slow down and calls me to get on the leash. I am just not very car-smart so it is good she is watching out for me.

When we get to my park, Parque Rosado or Plaza Pellerano Castro as it is officially called, I get to greet my dog neighbors and dog friends if they are out at the same time. I like to see who I can meet and greet. It is my park and I need to know who comes and goes at all times. It is my duty.

Mom has not taken pictures of all my friends because she does not always carry her camera. I like her to take pictures but sometimes it is nice when she is not always trying to get me to do something she thinks is cute. Sometimes I just want to play without that thing in my face.

This is my friend Vago. He lives down the street from me. I like him but his daddy always keeps him on his leash because he likes to run so we cannot play like I really like to.

Sometimes Vago (which is short for Vagabond) cannot come outside when I am there but he usually watches mom and I pass by his house from his balcony. Can you see him peeking out from his balcony?

Then there is my friend Clifford. He is is funny little red dog. I like jumping around with him. His mommy is really nice also.

One of my favorite playmates is this new little puppy. I know it she will get big soon but I need to teach her the ropes in MY park. She looks up to me and I so enjoy jumping around with Lalo. She has really pretty eyes too.

A new picture mom took as an update to my friends page today (Oct. 14). I like playing with Blanco. He is a little too energetic for me sometimes but he makes me get lots of exercise.

When there is no one to play with I like to watch the chickens down at the Marine base through the fence. If they make their way into the park I give chase. They need to stay near their home so they do not get hurt. Mom highlighted them so you can see them.

So, this is my mornings when I get to take my little morning walks to the park. I so enjoy my park.

I walked down Calle El Conde for a block. I was proud. I did not get afraid like before. Someday I will walk the entire Conde street.

I ate some ice in Parque Duarte and was feeling good so mom took me to the Feria Artesanal in Plaza Bartolome de las Casas. Lots of cool art work is for sale there by the artists that made the stuff.

Mom made me a long leash so I could have a little more freedom. I was playing hide and seek. Can you find me?

I liked the little booths and the colors. People painted their booths so pretty and artistic.

The statue was really big of the guy, Bartolome de las Casas, who the plaza was named after.

I really enjoyed the long leash and being able to sniff around.

I even made a friend. She was really nice and we played a little bit.

Mom took some pictures of her and I. We only had 1 picture of us together so she took some holding the camera out in front of us.

After we left the Plaza we walked for a few more hours. We stopped in one place where they are nice to me. They talk to me and pay attention to me and give me snacks. We do not remember the name of the Colmado but I like it there.

I had another glass of ice and got sooo tired. I could hardly keep my eyes open. People were laughing at me with my eyes closing and my head bobbing up and down.

Finally mom said it was time to go home. We were out for about 6 hours walking around, talking to friends and making new ones. It was a good day. I cannot wait to do it again.

Today I was in the mood to visit a little bit. i am starting to enjoy talking to people and hanging out with them more. I think people like me too.

I was a little nervous when the big truck came up and started unloading the equipment for the music but I figured out that it was OK when the driver guy came over and said hi to me. Then I saw some of my friend dogs lounging and relaxing like nothing important was happening so I decided it was OK and I watched then setting up.

After we watched for a while I was ready to continue on with our walk. We passed some of my Colmados. Two of them the people inside invited us in to hang out for a while. They like me. But I wanted to visit my Vet friend Gabriels favorite Colmado, Colmado San Miguel, so we walked there.

As soon as I got in the guys came over and said hi to me. It made me feel good that people like me and greet me. They gave me a piece of bread, some cheese and a few ice cubes. I was happy. I even did some tricks for them and showed off a little bit.

Met a new nice friend, Enrique. He was really nice to me and wanted his picture taken with me.

Then we started walking toward home. The streets and Colmados were getting full. The music started at the Ruinas. I was ready to head home. It was a good day. Both mom and I had enough. We were tired and ready to go home and relax. Mom said I did sooo good. I was walking home with my head held high. It was a good day.

One noise I really hate is the Güira. It is that metal thing that people play, or think they play, music with. That sound is so annoying to my ears. My mom says she does not really like that sound either but at least she does not go into a panic mode when she hears it like I do. Now that mom knows I do not like that sound she tries to take me out of the place if someone starts playing that thing which I really appreciate. It is strange though, when I hear it on a recording with other music it does not bother my doggie ears. But when I hear it live it is sooo annoying. I do not know if other dogs feel the same but for those of you who like playing this instrument, if you see me somewhere, please try to not play it or at least tell my mom first so we can leave the place. Thank you.

A few days ago mom took me to a place to meet a friend of hers, now my friend too, that is a veterinarian. He will come to to your house if you live in the Santo Domingo area. This is how much he loves us animals. His name is Gabriel and his number is 809-272-7968. He also does grooming.

Also, some human had a laptop computer. Mom and I told him to go to my blog and watch my Christmas Video Card. He and his friends laughed and laughed at my card. I love to hear the sound of those humans laughing. I am glad they enjoyed it.
